"The Ethics of Telehealth: Working Across State
Lines"
Many
national associations and states are currently working to expand licensure portability for Licensed Professional Counselors
to practice across state lines. The initiative called the Counseling Compact is encouraging if your home state joins
the compact. The question is, how does one apply telehealth regulations across state lines with regulations that present barriers
for LPCs to provide quality behavioral health care?
Join the DCMHCA as we explore and discuss some of the ethical and legal
issues that address practicing across state lines within the United States, and discuss ways to streamline the licensure by
endorsement process
